The origin of coffee in Indonesia can be traced back to two shipments, the first being sent in 1969 but lost in a flood and the second was sent in 1699 which were successfully grown. Our single origin comes from the Island of Sumatra and the region is known for its combination of both washed and natural coffee processing. It combines the best of both methods giving the coffee a less acidic taste while improving its body. 

A medium roasted bean with a full body and low acidity. Notes of licorice, chocolate, and fruit with an earthy undertone. Best brewed using a pour-over.
