Grinds

Grinds

One of the most important steps when brewing coffee is freshly ground beans. Right before you start brewing, you should grind the exact amount of coffee that will be needed. To get the most clean and even grind, one should use a burr grinder. While conventional grinders use blades, burr grinders use two burrs, one that rotates and one that usually stays still. This creates a clean and even grind throughout the process.

Having a grinder at home allows for freedom of what you can brew. If you are feeling an espresso you can simply grind the beans at a fine setting and with a minor adjustment you could be making cold brew with a course grind. This freedom paired with the taste and aroma of freshly ground coffee makes a grinder a must-have tool.
